East Pittsburgh, Pa. and Irvine, Calif. — Pinnacle Point-of-Sale, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacle Electronics, a leader in the manufacture of high reliability electronic assemblies, has acquired certain assets of Aspeon Inc.
The acquired assets include the technology for the Javelin point-of-sale products that Pinnacle Electronics had been exclusively manufacturing and distributing since July, 2003 under a prior agreement with Aspeon. These point-of-sale systems are used in a variety of retail, wholesale, restaurant, entertainment and food service applications.
