JUKI Opens Support Center in Eastern Europe

Nuremberg, Germany — JUKI Automation Systems has a new support base in the Czech and Slovak republic, provided by PBT Roznov p.R. , s.r.o.
Companies such as Siemens, Motorola, Matsushita, Sony, Kostal, Celestica, Flextronics and others have closed facilities in Western Europe and are directing a growing investment flow to these countries. Although this is a massive potential for JUKI, it also requires a capable technical support that can provide a six-hour reaction time, seven days a week.
PBT Roznov p.R., s.r.o. is one of the biggest and best equipped electronic support centers in Eastern Europe. PBT Roznov is the exclusive supplier of Juki products in the Czech and Slovak republics. Currently PBT Roznov p.R., s.r.o. has two divisions. The sales division has 25 employees and covers the needs of almost 600 customers in Eastern Europe. PBT is especially focused on comprehensive consulting and project management. Therefore, PBT not only offers complete production lines and materials but also grants training for the technical staff of their customers. The range of services is completed by customer support for specific production problems. The PBT team has specialists for service, process optimization, quality control and logistics. Within the company's premises there are facilities for training and seminars of up to 50 participants. The manufacturing division has 18 people, who are working on the development and manufacturing of screen printers, cleaning machines for electronics and other customer-specific appliances. Frequently, standard machines are modified for given customer applications.
