Tyco Electronics Names Business Development Manager for Puerto Rico

Willow Grove, Pa. — Tyco Electronics, a business segment of Tyco International Ltd., has appointed Ricardo Heredia as Tyco Electronics Automation Group's business development manager for Puerto Rico.
Heredia has been with Tyco Electronics since March 2002. He came from Siemens Dematic, a leading SMT company, where he served as sales manager for the Mexico Region since 2000. Prior to joining Siemens, Heredia served as sales engineer at Panasonic FA SMT. Heredia also spent six years working as the telecommunications project leader and senior sales engineer for companies such as Red Uno (Voice-Data Network Communications Integrator for TELMEX), NEC and Siemens Telecomunication.In 1992, Heredia graduated from the Instituto Technologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (Iteso) in Guadalajara, Mexico.
