GE Global Electronics Solutions Conducts Second Live and Webcast Auction with Expanded Auction Capabilities

San Diego — Due to the success of the live and webcast Printed Circuit Assembly equipment auction held on behalf of a remarketing customer in August 2003, GE Global Electronics Solutions (GES) will conduct a second event on behalf of the customer, on November 19, 2003, in Westborough, Mass.
The auction will begin at 9 a.m. EST and will incorporate thousands of lots of equipment, including Fuji and Universal chipshooters, DEK screen printers, desktop test equipment, GenRad, Teradyne, HP in-circuit test systems, Camalot glue dispensers, hundreds of feeders, microscopes, pallet racking, conveyors ,and fork trucks.The auction will last one day, November 19, and will go until all the assets are sold. The auction will be conducted in U.S. dollars and additional taxes may apply depending on final destination of asset. All equipment is sold as-is, where-is and without warranty.
GES' full-service live auction capabilities include plant and equipment preparation, strategic marketing campaigns, and events broadcasted live over the Internet. Thomas Industries Appraisal Corp. will help facilitate GES' "sweep the floor" auctions on a worldwide basis.
