Robert E. Klatell to Retire from Arrow Electronics

Melville, N.Y. — Arrow Electronics Inc. announces that Robert E. Klatell, executive vice president and a member of the Board of Directors, intends to retire from full time active employment with the company effective December 31, 2003.
Klatell will become a consultant to Arrow following his retirement. He has held a number of senior executive positions during his career with Arrow, including executive vice president (1993 to present); chief financial officer (1992 to 1996); senior vice president (1988 to 1993); treasurer (1990 to 1996); vice president (1979 to 1993); and general counsel and secretary (1976 to 2001). Klatell currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Datascope Corp. and Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc.
