European Passive Components Conference to Include Presentations by Vishay

Malvern, Pa. — The 17th annual European Passive Components Conference (CARTS-EUROPE 2003) will include several symposium papers presented by scientists and engineers from Vishay Intertechnology Inc.
CARTS-EUROPE is sponsored by Electronic Components Institute Internationale (ECII) Ltd., in cooperation with the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS) and Federation of the Electronics Industry (FEI). It will be held October 27 through 30 at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Stuttgart, Germany.
CARTS-EUROPE is the leading European forum for presenting the latest developments in passive component technologies, associated materials, measurement methods and testing techniques. It attracts companies that design, manufacture, and market passive components and the materials used in their manufacture, as well as major original equipment manufacturers. By combining technical paper presentations, seminars, and forums on market trends, CARTS-EUROPE has become a major international event. CARTS-EUROPE 2003 begins today with seminars titled "Trends and New Technologies for Passives" and "Strategic Market Forecasts." October 28 begins with an awards ceremony and keynote speech.
