Universal Announces Management Appointments

Binghamton, N.Y. — Universal Instruments announces new key management appointments to roles that head up its European operation and direct the development of its market leading flagship surface mount placement range.
Brad Bennett is moving to Europe to take overall responsibility for the territory in the capacity of director, European operations. Bennett will assume his role in time for the forthcoming Productronica exhibition and will relocate from the U.S. with his family. Bennett has been with Universal since 1995, serving most recently as director GSM platform products. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University, Indiana.
Taking over Bennett's former role as director,GSM Platform Products is Peter Bollinger. A European native, Bollinger currently is responsible for Universal's enterprise-wide software productivity suite. He will retain this responsibility in tandem with the GSM Platform role, and will relocate to Binghamton in October. Bollinger has worked for Universal Instruments since 2000, most recently in the position of manager of systems software products. He received his electrical engineering degree in Germany.
Reporting to Bollinger will be Matt Tiberia as manager, GSM applications and Shawn Robinson as manager, GSM product sales. Both are already based in Binghamton.
