EPTAC Named to Train for Micro Networks
September 19, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Amherst, N.H. — EPTAC Corp. has been named as the supplier for electronics training at Micro Networks.
EPTAC will be providing electronics production and inspection training for employees at the Massachusetts facility.
As part of a work force training grant, Micro Networks will receive $128,198; the fourth-largest grant awarded by the state Division of Employment and Training. In a ceremony presided over by Governor Mitt Romney, EPTAC demonstrated technology and training to the governor and accepted funding for future training.
Over the past decade, the electronics industry has been in the process of standardizing the way electronic assemblies are manufactured and inspected. EPTAC has helped define these standards in an effort to improve reliability and reduce production defects. The grant from employer-funded state programs, such as this one in Massachusetts, provide training to high technology, manufacturing and other industry employees.
EPTAC Corp. specializes in the training, consulting and certification of personnel in the electronics assembly industry.
