North Canton, Ohio — For the first time, Liquid Control Corp. will showcase an entire booth of live, operating dispensing machinery and equipment at Assembly Technology Expo 2003, September 23 through 25, at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
Designed to maximize the attendee experience, the exhibit (Booth #16107) features automation platforms, valves and pumps, and meter, mix and dispense machines operating live materials.
The booth is divided into two sections, featuring live machinery for assembly and automation, and electronics manufacturing. With a 42-inch plasma screen, booth visitors may view detailed illustrations that capture the mechanics of dispensing equipment as well as the various applications.
Liquid Control will highlight the following equipment and components for assembly and automation:
- C-500 XYZ motion platform, featuring the new PosiFlow metering pump The C-500 contouring motion platform and the PosiFlow dispense metering pump are targeted for use in gasketing, sealing, bonding, encapsulation, filling and other automated dispensing needs. Windows-based software on the C-500 makes programming simple and fast, including a flat touch screen panel and industrial PC as standard. The C-500 offers the new version 2.0 software package, which enhances the navigation and decreases programming time.
As the leader in dispense valve technology, Liquid Control will feature:
- PosiDot This plural component meter, mix, dispense machine is for accurate shots from 0.005 cc to 5 ccs and ratios from 1:1 to 25:1.This PosiDot will be featured dispensing an epoxy potting encapsulating material for electrical/electronic component assembly.
- Dispensit Model 1052 The pneumatically actuated, single component dispense valve is designed for accurate, repeatable dispensing of shots and beads ranging from 0.002 cc's to 1.8 cc's. This valve will be featured dispensing UV curable material.
- Dispensit Model 802-30 This positive displacement pinch tube dispense valve accurately dispenses repeatable shots of materials from 0.0002 to 0.0113 cc's. This unit will dispense a lubricant.
- Dispensit Model 1206 A lightweight rod displacement valve for precision dispensing, easily mounted on automated equipment. This unit will dispense lubricant.
For electronics manufacturing, Liquid Control will feature the following equipment:
- The Posiratio Mini A bench-top meter, mix and dispense machine, the Posiratio Mini offers precise mix ratio and shot size accuracy. The Posiratio Mini standard model comes fully equipped with advanced PLC controls and operator interface for ease of use. Using epoxy electrical/electronic encapsulant material, the Posiratio Mini will showcase an electrical potting application.
- P-200 automation platform, featuring the PosiDot valve The P-200 is a point-to-point dispensing motion platform for electronics and general assembly markets. With a downloadable Windows-based programming software, the P-200 is flexible and highly configurable for stand-alone, bench-top or in-line conveyor integration. Demonstrating a potting application, the P-200 with the PosiDot valve will run a silicone electrical/electronic material.
