Leading Gaming Equipment Supplier Exhibits Slim Profile Duraswitch Technology at Global Gaming Expo
September 15, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Phoenix — PushGate technology is being used in the new table-top panels of an industry leader in gaming equipment and systems.
Exhibited at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2003, the panels include 14 PushGate pushbutton switches and are being manufactured for use in casino bar top gaming machines.A Duraswitch licensee debuted PushGate technology in prototypes at G2E 2002 for customer reaction and feedback.
Duraswitch technology can be paired with LEDs, fiber optic or electroluminescent technology versus the traditional option of incandescent lighting offered with many mechanical switches. Because panels with Duraswitch technology can be flush-mounted to the exterior of the machine, retrofitting, repairing or updating panels is simple and cost-effective.
Duraswitch designs and develops electronic switch technologies, licensing its intellectual property to established switch manufacturers and OEMs. For more information, visit www.duraswitch.com.
