Alan Perkins Joins QualMark Corp.

Denver — QualMark Corp. has added Alan Perkins, vice president of sales and marketing, to its management team.
Perkins is a seasoned and successful business executive in entrepreneurship, sales management, business development, marketing, and operations both in international and domestic markets in the mobile supply chain logistics, enterprise software and content delivery management verticals. Since 1995, he has been successfully building sales, sales management and business development infrastructures for start-up emerging technology companies growing sales revenues and organizations from zero to well more than $10 million annually in both U.S. and international markets.
Perkins has been the leading regional sales producer and manager for several wireless mobile supply chain logistics start-ups including Aether Systems — the leading wireless application service provider for Global 1000 enterprises. While in the enterprise software and content delivery management vertical, Perkins successfully built sales and sales organizations in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions and increased sales revenues by 20 percent for the leading aviation content delivery provider — Jeppesen Sanderson.
As an entrepreneur from 1986 to 1995, Perkins founded and built Aerospace Components into a $4 million marketing and sales organization specializing in establishing market and manufacturing capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region for U.S.-based technology companies. Aerospace Components grew to have 38 direct and agent personnel established in 11 countries throughout the Pacific Rim. Perkins begin his professional career in international manufacturing with Raymond International, a Fortune 500 manufacturer and builder, as an assistant plant manager of a $20 million metal fabrication facility located in Taiwan, R.O.C. Perkins holds an MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, and a bachelor's degree in engineering from Texas A&M University.
