Sypris Electronics Awarded Contract by Raytheon

Louisville, Ky. — Sypris Solutions Inc.'s subsidiary, Sypris Electronics, has been awarded a contract by the Network Centric Systems division of Raytheon Co. to manufacture electronic assemblies for use in the development of the Navy's integrated air defense network.
When completed, this highly advanced system, known as the Cooperative Engagement Capability, will enable the real-time sharing of radar among all sea and air combatants to create a complete, integrated battle zone picture. The award is valued at $6 million.
