Genesis Electronics Manufacturing Opens New High-tech Electronic Repair, Warranty and Refurbishment Business
August 19, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Oldsmar, Fla. — Genesis Electronics Manufacturing Inc. (GEM) has entered into an agreement with IBM in support of monitor reclamation services.
The Repair and Warranty Service Center offers warranty and non-warranty services, expert troubleshooting, test and component-level repair of electronic assemblies and chassis. Services also include the capability to "refurbish like new" previously owned product, and the implementation of engineering changes for existing product upgrades.
Computer monitor/chassis repair and rework is a viable alternative when compared to the effort and cost of discarding these items or replacing obsolete components. Recent EPA and local restrictions are making PC component disposal more costly and difficult. This agreement reinforces GEM's commitment to provide all levels of service across its rapidly expanding customer base and to help make our global environment safer.
Genesis Electronics Manufacturing Inc. is a medium-volume electronic manufacturing services provider. For more information, visit www.genesismfg.com.
