AeA to Help Tech Companies Shape and Measure Value of Tuition Assistance Programs
July 17, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Washington, D.C. — AeA, the nation's largest high-tech trade association, has teamed up with Cenquest, a Managed Education solution provider, to help tech companies get a better return on education spending.
As a result, Cenquest and AeA have developed a custom Web-based service, which allows senior management to better understand how tuition assistance programs benefit the company and employees. This knowledge also allows them to strategically shape their education benefit programs.
More than 85 percent of U.S.-based companies offer tuition assistance, according to Eduventures Inc., a Boston-based research firm. However almost all such companies confirm that they do not measure effectiveness of the budget. Founded in 1943, AeA is the nation's largest high-tech trade association. AeA represents more than 3,000 companies with 1.8 million employees. For more information, visit www.aeanet.org.
