Universal Instruments Creates Industry Segment Account Manager Position

Binghamton, N.Y. — In response to expanding business, Universal Instruments has introduced the position of industry segment account manager, in order to focus on growing markets within specific industries.
The industry segment account manager will be responsible for defining market size and the market potential within a specific industry segment as well as working in conjunction with regional sales teams to support target accounts.
Bill Marca will assume the responsibility of industry segment account manager for the automotive industry. During his 18 years with Universal, and his experience as corporate account manager for Ford, Delphi and Motorola, Marca has gained extensive knowledge of the automotive industry.
Effective August 1, 2003, Ken Stanton will assume the responsibility of industry segment account manager for the military/aerospace and medical industries. Stanton's 12 years of sales, area operations support, and marketing experience, coupled with his proven track record for developing strong customer relationships, will provide him with a strong foundation as he transitions into this new position.
