FKI Logistex Alvey Systems Promotes Two

St Louis — FKI Logistex Alvey Systems, an FKI Logistex member company and leading integrator of automated material flow solutions, has appoitned Tony DiNello as director of Midwest regional operations and Jeff Cortez as operations manager, Midwest region.
In his new role as director of Midwest regional operations, DiNello will lead day-to-day and strategic operations throughout the Midwest, with a focus on maintaining the company's position as a market leader in integrated automated material and information flow solutions. He reports to Tom Roberts, director of field and international operations for Alvey.
DiNello joined Alvey in 1989 as a project engineer; in 1995, he was named the Midwest regional operations manager. Prior to joining Alvey, he worked at Automotion Inc., a technology-based designer and manufacturer of integrated package conveyor and sortation systems. DiNello holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.
Cortez will direct all pre- and post-order engineering activities in his new position as the operations manager for the Midwest region. In addition, he will be responsible for promoting regional market growth and profitability. He will report directly to DiNello.
Prior to joining Alvey as a project engineer in 1998, Cortez spent five years working as a project engineer for Paltier LLC. He began his material handling career building control panels for Rapistan while attending engineering school. Cortez graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of science in general engineering.
