June 4, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Ashburn, Va. — New solder pastes, fluxes and adhesives from all major manufacturers have been regularly screened over the last 10 years in ZESTRON technical centers to determine removability characteristics with ZESTRON's core product range.
All screenings are conducted in standardized equipment available in today's market. To date, ZESTRON has tested more than:
- 60 adhesives
- 350 solder pastes (soldered)
- 300 solder pastes (unsoldered)
- 200 fluxes
Each cleaned part has to pass stringent internal examination and evaluation tests to achieve a "+" rating.
