Tastitalia Wins Appliance Projects Using Duraswitch Technologies
May 21, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Phoenix and Italy — Duraswitch licensee Tastitalia announces multiple projects for two customers in the commercial foodservice industry.
The newly designed control panels use Duraswitch's patented PushGate pushbutton technology. Four panels, using from three to eight PushGates each, will be used for commercial coffee machines. Two additional panels, a nine-key and 14-key panel, are being manufactured for pizza ovens. Tastitalia has delivered prototype panels and expects to begin production next month. PushGate pushbutton technology is said to combine the best features of both electro-mechanical and flat panel membrane switches into cost effective, thin design.
Duraswitch is an innovator in the design and development of electronic switch technologies. Licensing its intellectual property to established switch manufacturers and OEMs, Duraswitch brings together its expertise in switch design with their marketing and manufacturing capabilities to commercialize the technology for a wide range of commercial and industrial controls.
