Advanced Packaging and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Magazines Announce Strategic Staff Changes

Nashua, N.H. -- Advanced Packaging and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) magazines have announced the strategic appointments of Christine Della Monaca as Managing Editor of SMT magazine and Ryan Cliche as Managing Editor of Advanced Packaging magazine.
These changes are the result of the ever-evolving industries of these two franchises, and SMT and Advanced Packaging's mission to continually provide the most timely information to their readers each month. These magazines are part of PennWell Corp.'s Advanced Technology Division.
Christine Della Monaca (formerly Ferrara) has been with SMT for almost two years, previously serving as Associate Editor. She has been a professional writer for the past seven years. In the technical publishing arena, she held various positions with Design News magazine for two and a half years, including Production Editor and Associate Editor. She has also done extensive freelance work for several local newspapers. Della Monaca holds an associate's degree from North Shore Community College in Massachusetts, and a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in New York. Ryan Cliche, Managing Editor for Advanced Packaging magazine, joined PennWell in October 2000 as an Editorial Assistant for Cabling Installation & Maintenance magazine. Before joining the staff of Advanced Packaging, he also served as a Managing Editor for CleanRooms magazine. Cliche holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of New Hampshire.
