New SMTA Online Presentations a Success
April 11, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Minneapolis -- The SMTA has launched all-new online presentations featuring instructors who, for approximately 90 minutes each, speak on a timely and specific topic.
The presentations are broadcasted using telecon for the audio and Web file downloads for the presentation materials. E-mail hyperlinks are also available during presentations to submit questions directly to the instructor.
Past presentations have included 0201 Assembly, Black Pad Defect and Emerging Technologies. Future presentations include Lead-free Solder Reliability Issues, Examining the SMTA Testability Guidelines, and Equipment Effectiveness -- Conception to End-of-Life.
The cost for each on-line presentation is US $75/US $135 for SMTA members/non-members, and the price of an individual membership is included in non-member registration. Each registration includes one phone line for as many site employees as can be accommodated by AV facilities. After registration, dial-in information and presentation URL's are e-mailed to participants within 48 hours of the scheduled event.
The SMTA membership is a network of professionals who build skills, share practical experience and develop solutions in electronic assembly technologies and related business operations. For more information, visit www.smta.org.
