SMT China Magazine Launch a Huge Success
March 31, 2003 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Nashua, N.H. -- PennWell Corp. announces that its premiere issue of SMT China is a huge success, closing with more than 15 participating advertisers in an 80-page folio dedicated to surface mount technology and electronics assembly in China.
Launching in April 2003 at NEPCON Shanghai, the magazine will be circulated to 10,000 engineers and decision-making managers at key OEM and EMS providers throughout China, as well as key industry events throughout the year.
For the premiere issue, SMT China called upon a select group of industry experts to comment on market expansion within specific product areas and the surface mount industry as a whole in 2003. They were also asked to comment on how the current state of the economy will affect the industry in 2003. The responses provided a broad range of viewpoints, as well as a look at innovations spawned from manufacturing challenges and suggestions on handling the industry's changing environmental landscape.
SMT China is published in partnership with the China Electronic Appliance Corp. (CEAC), located in Beijing. Since 1964, the CEAC has produced the National Electronic Fair, China's leading trade event covering electronic equipment and components. CEAC also publishes China E-market, a weekly journal focusing on equipment and components in the China market.
