Irvine, Calif. -- Bill Richardson has been hired as HID's technical training manager to educate customers about iCLASS 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology, as well as all current and new HID products.
In his new role, Richardson will work with HID's Product Management and Engineering teams to develop on-site training programs and technical manuals. He reports to Mark Rivoli, HID's vice president of service and support.Richardson joins HID from NexWatch (formerly Schlage Electronics/ WSE), where he worked for 17 years. He held numerous positions there, including area sales manager, customer service manager, application engineering manager, and customer training manager.
Richardson earned a bachelor of mechanical engineering degree from the University of Louisville. He will begin delivery of the training sessions by the third quarter of 2003.
