Cimetrix Continues to Tally Up Competitive Wins With 'Most Flexible' 300 mm Semiconductor Automation Software
March 19, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Salt Lake City -- Cimetrix will continue to build upon its leadership position in the area of 300 mm automation software for the semiconductor industry.
Currently, all major 300 mm fabs have reported successful integration of OEM tools supplied with Cimetrix's software, and the company continues to win new customers for its CIM300 and CIMConnect products. Cimetrix now counts more than 20 customers for its 300 mm software products, including four new customers secured during the last quarter.
During 2002, product enhancements enabled Cimetrix customers to fully implement the 300 mm standards within 12 to 16 weeks, an improvement over its first series of products, which took 18 to 24 weeks to complete.
Wentworth Laboratories, Ltd., a fourth-quarter new customer, said it recently selected Cimetrix's CIMConnect software due to the product's unique flexibility and ability to quickly develop communication interfaces for reduced integration and set up time.
Cimetrix plans to introduce new products at this month's SEMICON Europa to expand features and further reduce integration time for equipment OEMs to reach 300 mm compliance.
Cimetrix Inc. is a leading developer of software products for equipment connectivity and advanced motion control. For more information, visit www.cimetrix.com.
