SBIR Moves to New Facilities
March 7, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Santa Barbara, Calif. -- Santa Barbara Infrared Inc. (SBIR) has relocated into a newly redesigned 25,000 sq ft. facility here.
SBIR's rapid growth over the past two years necessitated the move from the company's 17,000 sq ft facility. After a yearlong search for a commercial property that would accommodate state-of-the art manufacturing and future growth, Santa Barbara Infrared found an ideal building to house administrative offices, manufacturing and all other operations under one roof. The long-term lease at the new building provides for expansion with a 5,000 sq ft. reserve area, which will be sublet until the company grows into the additional space.
The new site has been completely renovated and modernized to provide a contemporary environment with an abundance of natural light for the employees and administrative staff.
Santa Barbara Infrared was founded in 1989 and designs and manufactures the most technologically advanced electro-optic test equipment available worldwide. For more information, visit www.sbir.com.
