Indala Expands Its Domestic and International Sales Teams
January 17, 2003 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
San Jose, Calif. -- Indala has expanded its sales teams in the U.S., Asia-Pacific and European territories.
John Hunepohl joins Indala as national sales manager for North America, Sam Kwan as regional sales manager for Asia Pacific, and Scott Pearson as sales manager covering Northern and Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
With more than 30 years of experience in access control as both an integrator and manufacturer, Hunepohl's extensive business management and product marketing experience are well suited to develop business opportunities in Indala's existing and emerging markets. Prior to joining Indala, Hunepohl was president and CEO of Exact Identification Corp., where he successfully raised funding to complete the first round design and construction of a biometric fingerprint reader for the access control market. He also served as national sales manager for Checkpoint Systems, where he was the primary developer of the company's access control offering.
As sales manager for the Asia Pacific region, Kwan will be based in Hong Kong. His previous position was business unit manager for Johnson Controls Hong Kong Ltd. He also worked for Honeywell, and has experience in both sales and product engineering. Kwan has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and earned an MBA from Cleveland University.
Sales Manager Scott Pearson will be based out of Indala's European office. His extensive background in the access control industry and expertise in Indala products will enable him to maintain the significant growth this territory has experienced in recent years.
