Cobar Europe Brings Certificates of Compliance (COCs) Online
January 13, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Breda, Holland -- Cobar has brought Certificates of Compliance (COCs) online via the Cobar Web site, making them immediately available to customers.
While COCs are common and necessary information provided to purchasers of batches of solder paste, for example, making them immediately available online to customers is a new innovation with significant advantages.
Customers using the service on the Web site enter their specific product codes and batch numbers, and the information readily appears; a report of the COC can be printed. The COC document is generated automatically from a password-protected database that is updated continuously by an authorized Cobar staff member; it is thus official, even without a signature.
