Mentor Graphics to Meet Fourth Quarter Expectations on Strong Book-to-Bill

Wilsonville, Ore. -- Mentor Graphics Corp. expects to meet fourth quarter 2002 First Call consensus earnings-before-goodwill of 27 cents, with revenues in-line with expectations.
Mentor's book-to-bill for the fourth quarter was a near record, according to the company, which saw strengthening in the business, particularly in printed circuit board, FPGA and emulation products.
These results are preliminary and are subject to adjustments that may occur with final closing of records and completion of the annual audit by independent accountants.
Mentor Graphics will release fourth quarter results after market on Monday, January 27, 2003.
