San Mateo, Calif. -- According to ElectroniCast Corp.'s "Automated Assembly & Test of Fiber Optic Components" study, the global consumption of fiber optic component assembly equipment plus related test units will advance from $722 million in 2000 to $1.72 billion in 2005.
