HID Corp. Appoints New President

Irvine, Calif. -- Denis Hebert has been named president of HID Corp. He will report to Joe Grillo, president and CEO of the ASSA ABLOY Identification Technology Group (ITG).
Hebert joins HID from Honeywell, where he worked for 17 years in various senior positions. During his career at Honeywell, Hebert was actively involved in the security business managing marketing, engineering and manufacturing operations, as well as business units in Canada, France and the U.S. His most recent role was as president of NexWatch (a Honeywell company based in Fremont, Calif.), the leader in the manufacture and sale of enterprise-level access control systems.
Hebert earned an MBA from the John Molson School of Management at Concordia University in Montreal. He also earned undergraduate degrees in commerce and health sciences, and is a long-standing member of ASIS.
