Duraswitch Achieves Success With PushGate in Another Gas Pump Application
November 21, 2002 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Phoenix and Los Angeles -- Duraswitch has another entry into the gas pump control market.
Nelson Nameplate Co., a Duraswitch licensee, is currently manufacturing a family of panels incorporating Duraswitch's electronic PushGate for an industry-leading manufacturer.
Used as an alternative to membrane or metal dome switches, Duraswitch technology was chosen because of its durability and reliability in a package that can directly replace existing switches with few modifications.
Duraswitch announced the first gas pump industry win in April 2001, when its technology was chosen for gas-grade selector keys, soft keys and ATM keypads used in gas pump panels.
Nelson Nameplate has served as a global supplier for more than 50 years. For more information, visit www.nelsonusa.com.
Duraswitch licenses, engineers and markets its patented electronic switch technology to switch manufacturers and OEMs worldwide. For more information, visit www.duraswitch.com.
