Rogers Appoints Vice President of Supply Chain Management

Rogers, Conn. -- Rogers Corp. has appointed Ty McFarland to the position of vice president of supply chain management.
For the past two years, McFarland has been instrumental in improving and streamlining the supply chain functions at Durel Corp., one of the company's joint ventures. In his new position he will be responsible for Rogers' entire worldwide supply chain, and will report directly to Robert Wachob, Rogers' president and chief operating officer.
McFarland has extensive experience with several manufacturing firms in procurement, materials management and supply chain management. He was also a senior consultant for Ernst and Young Management Consultants.McFarland earned his bachelors' degree in supply chain management from Arizona State University. He is a member of the National Association for Purchasing Management, the Council for Logistics Management and the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
