IPC Presents Keys to Becoming a Highly Effective Trade Show Exhibitor
November 11, 2002 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Northbrook, Ill. -- IPC -- Association Connecting Electronics Industries(r) has created two workshops specifically designed for its IPC Printed Circuits Expo(r) and IPC SMEMA Council's APEX(r) exhibitors.
Both courses are part of IPC's Cyber University, which allows registered participants to log online and view presentations, listen to the instructors' lecture over the telephone, and participate during a question-and-answer session, all from the convenience of their desk or conference room.
The first session, "The Secrets of Effective Trade Show Marketing," will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2002, from 10 a.m. to noon, Central Standard Time (CST). Judi Baker-Neufeld, founder and president of TradeShows Plus, will detail ways to understand the trade show environment, perform audience research, set goals and measurable objectives, plan strategies and tactics and evaluate performance.
GES Exposition Services Vice Presidents Chuck Grouzard and John Osborn will lead the second course, "The Secrets of Effective Trade Show Operations," on Thursday, December 5, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (CST). This session will present practical tips on efficient and cost-effective participation in trade shows, examine an exhibitor case study, and provide a step-by-step approach to planning an exhibit before, during and after the show.
IPC is a U.S.-based trade association dedicated to the competitive excellence and financial success of its more than 2,500 member companies which represent all facets of the electronic interconnection industry, including design, printed wiring board manufacturing and electronics assembly.
