Sanmina-SCI Announces Fourth Quarter and Year-End Results

San Jose, Calif. -- Sanmina-SCI Corp. reported financial results for its fourth quarter and 12 months ended September 28, 2002.For the fourth quarter ended September 28, 2002, Sanmina-SCI reported pro forma revenues of $2.6 million, compared to pro forma revenues (giving effect to the combination of Sanmina and SCI Systems) of $2.36 million in the fourth quarter last year.
Pro forma net income for the fourth quarter ended September 28, 2002 was $3.2 million, compared to $21.8 million in the fourth quarter last year. The company reported diluted cash earnings per share for the fourth quarter of 2 cents, compared to 6 cents in the fourth quarter a year ago. These financial results are pro forma and include the results of SCI Systems as if combined at the beginning of each respective period. Results are exclusive of merger, impairment, restructuring and other infrequent or unusual charges.
