Nextek Announces New Vice President of Sales

Madison, Ala. -- Mark S. Edwards has accepted the position of vice president of sales for Nextek Inc.
Edwards most recently served as business development manager for XeTel Corp. in Dallas, Texas, a contract electronics manufacturer. Edwards also worked for Texas Instruments (defense electronics group) in the late 1980s as a manufacturing engineer, and spent the 1990s selling surface mount assembly equipment to OEMs, contract manufacturers and semiconductor packaging operations, prior to joining XeTel.
In his new position, Edwards will direct all aspects of Nextek's sales activities including the direct sales personnel and outside manufacturer's representatives in order to secure manufacturing services contracts with new customers.Nextek is a technology-driven manufacturing specialty company providing precision engineering, manufacturing and analytical services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the electronics industry.
