October 11, 2002 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Phoenix and Frankenmuth, Mich. -- Duraswitch licensee Memtron is using Duraswitch's PushGate switch technology in fire alarm controls it is producing for two customers.
One panel uses eight PushGates and the second panel is being redesigned from a 32-PushGate panel to a 35-PushGate panel.
Duraswitch's PushGate reportedly has been tested to millions of actuations in various environmental conditions. It is said to feature a crisp tactile feel that does not degrade over time due to its unique use of magnets versus mechanical stress.
A proven supplier to OEMs for more then 30 years, The Memtron Technologies Division of Advanced Input Devices specializes in custom membrane switches and input components as well as an uncommon level of customer service and support.
Duraswitch licenses, engineers and markets its patented electronic switch technology to switch manufacturers and OEMs worldwide. For more information, visit www.duraswitch.com.
