Applied Systems Intelligence Receives $500,000 Investment

The investment is part of the Series B Preferred offering, which seeks to raise $2 million for the company. Applied Systems Intelligence Inc. is presently beginning its trial deployment of the eValue supply chain collaboration system in the electronics assembly industry.
San Mateo, Calif. -- ElectroniCast will feature Optical Micro-Machines (OMM) Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Conrad Burke on November 13 at the Fourth Annual OADM & Advance Photonic Communication Networks Conference at the Villa Hotel here. Burke's presentation, "Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Based Reconfigurable-OADM (R-OADM)," will concentrate on R-OADM technologies and OMM's progress to date in component technologies, network applications, and integration of key enabling technologies such as MEMS and silica planar lightwave circuits (PLCs). Burke joined OMM in March 2000 and currently heads up product management, marketing and sales.
