Siliconix Quarterly Earnings Jump 120 Percent to 37 Cents per Share

This is an increase of 120 percent from the net income of $5.1 million, or 17 cents per share, in the second quarter of 2001 and 37 percent from the net income of $8.2 million, or 27 cents per share, in the first quarter of 2002. Sales for the second quarter of 2002 were $94.9 million, 30 percent more than the sales of $73.3 million for the second quarter of 2001 and 14 percent more than the sales of $83.6 million for the first quarter of this year.
Montreal -- Coreco Inc. has reported revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, 2002 of $4.9 million, an increase of 2 percent on a sequential basis from $4.8 million in the first quarter of 2002 and a decrease of 36 percent from $7.6 million reported in the second quarter of 2001.
