Four New Directors Named to NEMA Board

The new members are: Kenneth Honeycutt, president and chief executive officer of Acuity Lighting Group; Gregory B. Kenny, president and chief executive officer of General Cable; Thomas N. McCausland, president and chief executive officer of Siemens Medical Solutions; and James L. Packard, chairman and chief executive officer of Regal-Beloit.
Irvine, Calif. -- Newport Corp. has reported financial results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2002, reflecting continued strength in orders and sales to its semiconductor capital equipment customers and other end markets, offset in part by ongoing weakness in its fiber optic communications business.
