IntroductionSo much of the literature discussing soldering temperature is so vague that discussions in the workplace generally turn to experience as the ultimate authority. Low-temperature verses high-temperature soldering is debated until a lively personal testimonial is usually given that runs something like this: "When I turn my soldering iron up to about 800 degrees F, I get much better results. It's much easier -- and faster."
