Aegis Announces Technology Agreement With Siemens Dematic

Seamless software integration for SMT manufacturing has been Siemens' approach for the past several years. Robert Huber, Manager Global Software Product Management, Siemens Dematic EAS said, "Collaboration with partners such as Aegis, who is a market leader, confirms our continuing effort for open systems on the factory floor. Our customers ultimately receive the benefit since they get best-in-class components from the market leaders that are integrated transparently into their manufacturing software."
CINCINNATI, Ohio - Standex Electronics has introduced a new series of ultra low profile SMT toroidal inductors with heights as low as 1.2 mm, the ST series. According to Standex, products comparable to the ST series are at least 20 percent taller.
