WAND Singulation Releases Smart-Router

The Smart-Router is a manually operated cell, in which an operator registers a populated panel into the machine. The individual circuit boards within the array are then routed according to the preprogrammed sequence. The Smart-Router can accomplish positioning speeds up to 20" per second and route speeds up to 2" per second, and retains a servo repeatability of ±0.0008".
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. - In an attempt to include all franchised distributors, Virtual Chip Exchange (VCE) now allows them full membership privileges on the VCE Trading Floor. Founded in 1997, VCE is an independent e-commerce exchange for electronic components, allowing qualified OEMs, electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers, electronic component manufacturers and franchised distributors to buy or sell electronic components in a confidential and trusted arena. Distributors can buy parts that currently are not in stock or are needed to complete turnkey "kitting" services and can achieve a strong return when selling their excess or obsolete inventory.
