Rework System
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
The RW116 Rework System reportedly can rework PCBs with connector sizes up to 20 x 2" (on 24 x 24" boards) and uses forced-heated convection to preheat the PCB to effect faster processing, shorter rework cycles and less possibility of thermal stress to the PCB. This system, along with the company`s Series RW105 and RW110 systems, is said to use PLC-controlled individual solder fountains operating with fluid dynamics to generate stable waves and reduce turbulence. Nozzles are interchangeable to suit the requirements of the component, and the units are equipped with precision fixturing and laser-guided alignment.
