Salt Lake City Gains Design Center

American Microsystems Inc. (AMI) opened a new design center in Salt Lake City to increase its mixed-signal and analog design talent. The center will also contribute to the ongoing development of precision analog functions supporting the company`s ASIC systems solutions. The center will be run by Donald Comers, Ph.D., who brings more than 20 years of experience in academics and industry. As director of the design center, Dr. Comers will report to the vice president of AMI`s Home, Office and Industrial Business Unit, Bob Klosterboer.
