December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
The B6001, B6003 and B6005 filter modules are specifically designed to meet the requirements of the HomePNA 1M8 PHY specification for the 1 Mbps technology. All three products have been UL 1950 certified for supplementary insulation requirements. The B6001 is a 14-pin though-hole part that incorporates 10Base-T filtering and isolation. The B6003 and B6005 are both 16-pin surface mount parts. The latter also has 10Base-T filtering. The bandpass filter portion is designed to ensure the 6 to 9 MHz range of operation for home networking products with a nominal insertion loss of 3 dB. These parts are said to offer a return loss of 12 dB within the home networking portion and 18 dB for the 10Base-T, and include protection circuitry, isolation and EMI filtering.
