IRC Commits to MIL-Spec Market
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Resistor manufacturer, IRC, has strengthened its commitment to the military market by ensuring that its lines of resistive products are qualified for military specification (MIL-Spec). Specializing in products for rugged and demanding applications, IRC offers one of the largest lines of military-approved electronic components for military, radar and aerospace.
The company`s Wire-wound and Film Technologies Div. operates manufacturing facilities in Boone and Smithfield, N.C., to produce precision military metal glaze resistors, thick-film high-voltage resistors and precision wirewound resistors.
IRC also manufactures silicone-coated power resistors, resistive temperature sensors, matched resistor sets, discrete wirewound networks, fuse resistors and ultra-precision resistors, all qualified to MIL-Spec standards.
"The military market is very demanding and we try to meet those demands by being one of the few component suppliers to offer a larger MIL-Spec product line," said Stuf Tugman, sales and marketing manager.
Military approval charts are available from IRC. For more information, visit the company`s Web site, www.irctt.com, or call the instant faxback information line at (888) 472-3282.
