NPL: High-temp Soldering Demo at SMTA International
September 11, 2014 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
High temperature applications generally start at 150°C and go up to 200°C where there is generally a limit for traditional PCB laminate materials. In these applications the solder alloys normally used are tin/copper, HMP, and tin/antimony, but other materials are available.
Why not try some hands-on soldering and de-soldering with polyimide boards produced from different laminates? Or see demonstrations of robotic soldering during the special feature that has been organised by Bob Willis for SMTAI? The event is supported by many key suppliers to the industry, including, Indium, MTA Automation, SEHO, UIC, STI, ERSA, NAMICS, Peroferm, Inventec, Japan UNIX, Kyzen, and NPL.
Join NPL at SMTA International and attend the free seminars devoted to high-temperature manufacturing at the “Power and High Temperature Manufacturing” Experience. For more information, click here.
