KIC announces that on July 13 (9:00 a.m. Pacific/12:00 p.m. Eastern), Bjorn Dahle, president, and Miles Moreau, technical support specialist will present content from the company's latest white paper in a free, live webinar.
This webinar sets out the anomaly that is the lack of intelligence available in ovens compared to elsewhere on the production line and the clear benefits of making the oven smarter.
"If you were handing prizes out for intelligence on the shop floor, I suspect the oven wouldn't get the first prize, yet we have devoted so much time to factory intelligence and the path towards what many are calling the Smart Factory," said Dahle, president.

In today's factories, the output must far exceed the accumulative performance of each machine to stay competitive. No machine or process is an island—they must form ecosystems. The trend towards extreme automation and the smart factory leads to ever more connectivity and interdependence.
