Lincoln International 2Q 2016 EMS Index Down 1.9%

Lincoln International’s EMS stock index underperforms the S&P in the second quarter of 2016. The Large Index (Tier 1) has decreased 2.9% from last quarter while the Mid Index (Tier 2) went up by 2.9%. The Small Index (Tier 3), on the other hand, fell 3.6% on quarter. Overall, the EMS Index was down by 1.9% quarter on quarter.

Among the winners are Sanmina Corp. (Tier 1), which gained 14.7%; Sparton (Tier 2), up by 21%; and SMTC Corp. (Tier 3), with a slight growth of 0.7%.

The worst performers, meanwhile, include Celestica Inc. (Tier 1), down by 15.7%; Benchmark Electronics Inc. (Tier 2), down by 8.2%; and IEC Electronics Corp. (Tier 3), down by 7.8%.
