Koh Young America Focuses on Internal Mobility and Promotes from Within
January 25, 2023 | Koh Young AmericaEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
Koh Young, the industry leader in True3D measurement-based inspection solutions, is reaping the benefits of promoting from within its organization. It is proud to announce it has promoted Enrique Hernandez Diaz to Regional Sales Manager and Rafael Matute Rohwedder to Service Manager for Mexico and South America.
Following 8 years of progressive movement in the electronics industry, Enrique Hernandez Diaz will become the Regional Sales Manager in Mexico covering Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Durango, and Sonora. His background at Tier 1 EMS as a Process Engineer, combined with his experience at Koh Young as a Field Engineer, Application Engineer, and most recently Service Manager position him to quick become a key contributor to the sales organization. A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas and multiple development certifications from the Tecnológico De Monterrey Multipel, strengthen his industry experience as both a supplier and customer.
Description automatically generatedWith Enrique’s transition to sales, Koh Young has promoted Rafael Carlos Matute Rohwedder as the Service Manager for Mexico and South America. Besides his Electronic Engineering Degree from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA) and Project Administration Certification from TEC de Monterrey, Rafael adds a Green Belt Certification and a background as a Test Engineer at a Top 3 EMS provider to his pedigree. In addition to his role as a user, Rafael has been supporting users as a field engineer and most recently as Senior Application Engineer. In his nine-year tenure with Koh Young, Rafael has supported many pre-sales studies, application assessments, and training engagements, so the transition to Service Manager for the region was natural.
Koh Young is creating a promotion-from-within culture focused on both vertical and horizontal movement to demonstrate it rewards professional development with growth and advancement. “A strong recruitment and retention strategy considers both hiring outside of the company as well as from inside the company,” said Ramon Hernandez, Head of Sales and Service for Mexico & South America at Koh Young America. “Not only do these two promotions strengthen our culture, but they open doors for new growth and experience for others from either inside Koh Young or not.”
Koh Young is always seeking top talent to continue building it best-in-class company and we are eager to talk with interested applicants. You can visit us on 24-26 January 2023 at IPC APEX EXPO in Booth 1116 at the San Diego Convention Center in California.
