LITEON Technology Reports Consolidated May Sales of NT$12.4 Billion, Up 3% MoM

LITEON Technology reported its May consolidated revenue of NT$ 12.4 billion, up 3% M-o-M and down 10% Y-o-Y, excluding sales of the transferred image business. Thanks to continuous yearly growth from high-value core businesses such as power management in cloud computing & AI server, automotive electronics, and 5G network equipment, cumulative sales for January to May totaled NT$58.6 billion.
Opto-electronics Business contributed a 21% share of total sales, of which, stable demand seen in LITEON’s worldwide No.1 shipment photocouplers used in industrial automation and green energy advanced applications; with delivery growth from electronic vehicle chargers, LED vehicle lighting and ADAS camera modules, Opto-electronics business posted a monthly growth around 5%.
Cloud & AIoT business contributed a 36% share of sales. The shipment of high-end datacenter server and networking power management systems for cloud computing & AI server, as well as 5G network equipment posted a yearly growth.
Information Technology & Consumer Electronics Business accounted for 43% of sales. Thanks to ongoing optimization of product mix and smooth delivery from high-end power adapters shipments, Information Technology & Consumer Electronics Business posted a monthly growth around 5%.

The decline also affected the operating profit, which was DKK 155 million compared to DKK 179 million in the same quarter last year, although the EBITDA margin was maintained.
